Citizens with Challenges (CwC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building stronger, more sustainable communities through education, leadership development, and partnerships with like-minded organizations. We support children, families, veterans, and underserved communities in Detroit and beyond.

Design Students Working In CAD/3D Printing Lab Together

Education & Youth Programs

Leadership training for youth
After-school support and mentorship

Community Spotlight: AfricanTown-48217 (AT-4)

A historic community in Southwest Detroit—home to African Americans since 1898. We aim to have AT-4 recognized on official city, county, and federal maps as an essential part of Detroit’s identity.
